The Zyliss Ice Cream Scoop is the winner of the 2003 Red Dot Design Award! Perfectly balanced and incredibly ergonomic, this scoop has a superior shape to cut through even the hardest ice cream! The Zyliss scoop is not completely round, but has a gently curved bell with a sharp, hard edge. This edge cuts through the ice cream like magic, and with very little effort. Better still, the ice cream curls up onto the scoop and makes your desserts look like they were turned out by a real professional. If you run the metal scoop under hot water for a few seconds before scooping, the job is even easier. In addition, the handle feels very comfortable and sturdy in the hand. Great for right or left-handed use, Zyliss placed a thumb rest at the tip of the handle to apply maximum pressure with minimal effort.
